Literature Text
i am a slug who will melt under salt.
an inquisitive child.
i wonder why salt melts slugs.
when did i learn the word inquisitive?
i feel rain, Gods tears.
did someone Good die?
i look at the rising moon.
i want to sit on it and fish for answers
to questions unasked.
i am a slug who will melt under salt,
an inquisitive child.
i pretend i am alone.
i feel swallowed in a sea of smiles.
i touch the darkness soon to submerge me.
i worry that ill never get answers.
i cry for the answers already in my heart.
i am a slug who will melt under salt.
an inquisitive child.
i understand some answers can be hard pills to swallow.
reality is a pill swallowed alot.
i dont want to be all-knowing,
but ignorance is no synonym for bliss.

Broken Man
Together we were,
Friends since birth.
And the value of that,
Is an immeasurable worth.
We frolicked and played,
On the hot summer days.
And on the cold winter nights,
We enjoyed fires ablaze.
Yes, friends we were,
And nothing more.
However there was something,
That I was longing for.
Felt it was time,
To go even further.
However, the courage,
I just couldn't gather.
And so on we went,
Companions in life.
Yet, I knew what I wanted,
You as my wife.
My feelings I hid,
Afraid of your response.
Thought your feelings of me,
Were only nuance.
Finally it came,
Courage inside.
I confessed to you,
That my heart you hog-tied

Dark (4)
These eyes of mine that used to see
have now turned blind from their disuse
These ears of mine that used to hear
have no become deaf from their numbed state
This voice of mine that used to sing
has now been muted from not being heard
Living in this darkness
has changed me from who I was
Once I was happy
My eyes saw all the beauty
My ears heard his voice
My voice would sing joyous melodies
and we were happy
But then all light left my world
when he went away
My eyes could not see his face
so they went blind instead
My ears could not listen to his voice
so they tuned to a world of silence
My voice could not sing joyous melodie

sam you've gotten better from the last time I checked. Honestly, I don't see many literature pieces that jump out at me anymore, especially the fancy ones with the over decorative words. Your simple pieces always catch my eye and I love them. I hardly bother to take the time to read or fav things here anymore, as I'm a busy man now, so it's actually a big deal that your awesomeness has forced my ass to become active on numerous occasions. Keep up the good work. Btw, I miss you don't ya know? I miss you all. You guys never left my mind.
